Cardiology
Rochelle Community Hospital partners with OSF HealthCare Cardiovascular Institute to bring expert cardiology care to our community. While these services are offered at RCH for your convenience, all cardiology care is provided by OSF HealthCare Cardiovascular Institute physicians, not by RCH medical staff.

Cardiology Services Available at RCH
Cardiology visits and testing are conveniently offered at the RCH Multi-Specialty Clinic and may include:
- Cardiac rehabilitation, including education, supervised exercise in our Health & Wellness Center, and nutritional assessment
- Echocardiograms
- Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Initial cardiology consultations and ongoing care
- Nuclear cardiac testing
- Stress testing
What to Expect at Your First Visit
When you arrive, our Multi-Specialty Clinic staff will welcome you and collect your photo ID and insurance information on behalf of OSF HealthCare Cardiovascular Institute. A nurse will then review your medical history and take vital signs before your cardiologist meets with you.
If testing such as an EKG or lab work is needed, many services can be completed the same day at RCH, helping reduce travel and delays in care.
Advanced Cardiac Care & Transfers
For most routine cardiology visits and cardiac rehabilitation, care can be completed locally at RCH. In cases where advanced or emergency cardiac care is needed — such as during a heart attack or stroke — patients may be transferred to another facility.
If OSF HealthCare Cardiovascular Institute is your cardiology provider, every effort is made to ensure continuity of care. OSF cardiologists work closely with their specialized teams to deliver coordinated preventive, diagnostic, and interventional heart care.
