What can I expect at my first Cardiology visit? vertical grey line horizontal grey line

You will be greeted by our Multi-Specialty Clinic staff upon arrival to a cardiology consult. Our staff will collect your photo ID and insurance information for RCA. Shortly after arriving, the nurse will call you back to collect your history and vital signs for the cardiologist. The cardiologist may order lab work or tests such as an EKG during your consultation. In most cases, your ordered tests can be completed the same day at RCH.

Can I transfer to Rockford for Advanced Cardiac Care? vertical grey line horizontal grey line

Rochelle Community Hospital and RCA have made it easy for patients to do their cardiac rehab and regular visits here in Rochelle. But there are some circumstances that a higher level of cardiac care will be needed – especially in heart attack or stroke situations. Anytime you are being transferred to another facility, you should let the doctor transferring you know who your cardiologist is. Every effort is made to transfer you to your cardiology provider. If RCA is your cardiology group, your RCA cardiologist will work together with the RCA team to provide preventative, diagnostic and interventional care.
