Important Update as of October 1:
One of the first of the many updates to this project was to re-route the Health & Wellness entrance to be adjacent to its emergency exit on 3rd street. This change was officially completed on Friday, September 26th.
Continuing on to the next phase, Schmeling Construction Company started the process of closing the entrance to the Health & Wellness Center from 2nd Street. As of Wednesday, October 1, that entrance is now CLOSED.

What’s Happening:
Rochelle Community Hospital is embarking on an exciting, multi-year facilities improvement initiative. Leading the way, starting in September 2025, is a significant expansion of our Health & Wellness Building located on the south side of our campus.
What’s Included:
This phase brings together services that were previously separated—creating a consolidated hub for:
- Cardiac rehabilitation
- Pulmonary therapy
- Physical therapy
- Occupational therapy
All under one roof for improved coordination and patient convenience.
Why It Matters:
This renovation reflects RCH’s commitment to reinvesting in services for our community. By integrating these therapies into a centralized location, we’re enhancing access, streamlining care pathways, and reinforcing the high-quality, compassionate care we’re known for.
