Rochelle Community Hospital is Smoke-Free!
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the hospital or on the hospital campus.
Since smoking is the leading preventable cause of death in the United States today, it makes sense for a major healthcare facility like Rochelle Community Hospital to eliminate smoking from our healthcare environment as well.
Hospitals are a vital, central part of a healthy community. Implementation of a smoke-free environment sends a clear message of our commitment to create and sustain healthy communities - this decision supports our commitment to modeling a place of wellness and prevention, as well as treatment, for patients, employees, and visitors. Therefore, no use of any tobacco products will be permitted on hospital grounds.
To assist employees, visitors and community members who wish to stop smoking, we will continue offering smoking cessation classes. For information on when these classes are available, please check our Events.
