Neurology

Neurological disorders range from Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia (brain conditions) to restless leg and carpal tunnel syndromes (nervous system conditions). Because of this, neurologists can act as consultants to other physicians or as your primary care doctor – depending how frequent your visits are required.

Rochelle Community Hospital teams with the Rockford Neuroscience Center to provide those dealing with these conditions with the care they need, right here in Rochelle. Mohammed S. Afzal, M.D. sees patients in Rochelle one Wednesday a month.
