Free Orthopaedic Lecture Series Offered
No matter what your passion may be…it’s important to keep moving! Rochelle Community Hospital and Midwest Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) are pleased to announce a new orthopaedic lecture series here in Rochelle.
- On Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. , “Rotator Cuff Tears” with Dr. Glasgow and Dr. Choi. Rotator cuff tears are a common cause of pain and disability among adults. Join Orthopaedic Surgeons Michele Glasgow, MD, FAAOS, and Tony Choi, MD, FAAOS, as they explain the difference between acute and chronic tears and available treatment options.
- On Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 12:00 noon-1:30 p.m., “Ankle Pain Relief” with Dr. Liakos. Does ankle pain stop you in your tracks? Orthopaedic Surgeon, Photine Liakos, MD, FAAOS, answers your questions about the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and many other painful foot and ankle conditions.
- On Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 6:30-8:00 p.m., “Do Your Feet Swell?” with Dr. York. Have you ever had swelling in your feet that you can’t explain? Do you experience pain in your feet by the end of the day? Join Podiatric Surgeon Shane York, DPM, FACFAS, to learn about foot injuries and the other potential causes of foot pain and swelling.
Feel free to attend one or all three of the lectures. A light meal will be provided for each event. All presentations will be held in the VIP Room at Hickory Grove Banquet & Conference Center.
