Physical Therapy Patient Celebrates 100th Visit
Bob Knight, of Davis Junction, was treated to a celebration of his 100th physical therapy visit by the Rehabilitation staff at RCH on Friday, July 13. Knight was injured in October 2011 when he fell on his right shoulder. His injury required rotator cuff surgery which was performed by Dr. Michele Glasgow, of Midwest Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) of Sycamore. Knight shared, "I was very impressed with the care I received from Dr. Glasgow. She was very cautious and explained everything very well."
Knight has been working with Tricia Lodico, Physical Therapist at RCH (shown in photo with Knight). He remembers when he first came for treatment he needed help getting his arm in and out of the sling he wore. "The staff has been very professional, thorough and really cares about my level of pain. I'm happy to say I have good range of motion with my shoulder now but I'm not quite where I need to be yet," said Knight.
