11th Annual RCH Foundation Hospital Hustle 5K A Success

ROCHELLE, IL—June 3, 2017--The 11th Annual Rochelle Community Hospital Foundation’s 5K Walk/Run, the “Hospital Hustle”, was held at Rochelle Township High School this morning with 175 registered participants.

Overall winners were Dan Palmer, age 40, of Roscoe with a time of 18:11 and Trese McNinch, age 35, of Amboy with a time of 21:57. Trese was on the Maplehurst Farms team. An awards ceremony was held immediately following Carington’s Kids Race.

This year’s event boasted seven teams.  First place was awarded to Anytime Fitness. Additional teams were Holcomb State Bank, First National Bank of Rochelle, Maplehurst Farms, Silgan, SWATT, and OSF HealthCare.

Approximately 10 kids ran in the Carington Kids Race. All participants received a t-shirt and race medal.

Sponsors of this year’s event included:  OSF HealthCare, NITROrthopaedics, First National Bank of Omaha, InVironments Magazine, Midwest Orthopaedic Institute, Rock Valley Credit Union, Transitions Hospice, Unity Hospice, Wills Chiropractic, First State Bank, Managed Care, Robert and Carol Elliott and Ralphie & LuLu’s.
