RCH Receives 2016 Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for Outstanding Patient Experience

ROCHELLE, IL – Rochelle Community Hospital is pleased to announce it has been named a 2016 Guardian of Excellence Award® winner by Press Ganey. The Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing health care organizations that have consistently achieved the 95th percentile or above in Patient Experience. This goal was achieved by the RCH Surgery department for four consecutive quarters from May 1, 2015-April 30, 2016.

The Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award is a nationally-recognized symbol of achievement in health care. Presented annually, the award honors clients who consistently sustained performance in the top 5% of all Press Ganey clients for each reporting period during the course of one year.

“Our goal at RCH is to exceed the patient’s expectations. RCH’s surgery team – including our physicians – has certainly achieved this as evidenced by this recognition from Press Ganey,” stated Mark J. Batty, RCH Chief Executive Officer. “The most rewarding piece of receiving this award is that it is based on patient experiences in comparison with other organizations. This is evidence that RCH’s patient satisfaction is in the top 5% of all healthcare institutions surveyed by Press Ganey.”

"We are proud to partner with Rochelle Community Hospital,” said Patrick T. Ryan, CEO of Press Ganey. “This award is a testament to the organization’s leadership in delivering patient-centered care. By achieving and sustaining this level of excellence, Rochelle Community Hospital continues to demonstrate their commitment to advancing the overall quality of health care.”
