New Chief Executive Officer Named at Rochelle Community Hospital
ROCHELLE, IL---Rochelle Community Hospital (RCH) has named Mark J. Batty as its new Chief Executive Officer effective April 9, 2012.
Batty has been the Vice President of Operations and Human Resources at Illinois Valley Community Hospital (IVCH) in Peru, IL since July 2007. IVCH is an independent 72-bed rural community hospital with 600 employees.
Currently completing a master's degree in Health Administration, Batty earned a Human Resource Management Certificate in May 2007 and a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Illinois State University in May 1986.
"When I visited the hospital, I was excited about the things that are taking place in Rochelle," he said. "I see great opportunity to enhance the hospital's tradition of providing excellent care to every patient, every day. I am looking forward to working with all the people I met at RCH, including the Board of Trustees, physicians and staff."
Batty and his wife, Becky, have two daughters: Marie, 21, a junior at St. Louis University majoring in pre-medicine and Michelle, 18, a freshman at Benedictine University in Lisle majoring in elementary education.
