RCH Auxiliary English Tea Style Show a Great Success
Nearly 240 area women attended the Auxiliary's English Tea/Style Show this past Saturday afternoon in the Stillman Room at Hickory Grove.
British-raised Linda Johnson, from DeKalb, shared information about tea time in England. A luncheon followed with assorted tea sandwiches, chips, ranch veggies, tea time sweets, tea and coffee. Each table had a centerpiece that included a handmade miniature dress.
Fashions by Chico's, White House Black Market and Christopher & Banks featured everything from pajamas to casual wear and dress outfits. Models included: Kathleen Lutz, Janaan Curran, Adah Horner, Mary Ann Louis, Janet Henert, Renelle Carmichael, Gina Pedraza, Dawn Jenkins, Tracy Vargen, Michelle Burden, Lisa Haas, Julie Huddleston, Rajni Sud, Judy Williams, Debby Katzman and Amanda-Claire Page. Norma Huntley and Kathleen Lutz coordinated the event with help from a committee of other Auxiliary volunteers.
The event raised nearly $4000 which will be used for scholarships for students going into healthcare careers and items for the children's play areas in the new Health & Wellness Center.
Thank you to everyone who supported this event and ultimately Rochelle Community Hospital.
