RCH Announces Name of New Medical Office Building
ROCHELLE, IL—December 15, 2015—Rochelle Community Hospital representatives recently announced the name of their new medical office building will be Rochelle Community Hospital Health and Wellness Center. The 26,000 square foot building project is scheduled to be completed in April 2016.
Currently, drywall installation is taking place inside. Windows are being installed and the outside finish is being applied under the plastic with half of the building complete.
The main entrance to the new facility is located at the Southwest corner of the building. Services on the first floor will include a 1,850 square foot Fitness Center with cardio and strengthening equipment, lockers, and a cool down area. Cardiac Rehabilitation will also be offered in this space. The Multi-Specialty Clinic physicians will be located on the first floor with 14 exam rooms, six offices, an education room and stress lab. The first floor will connect and present access on the south end of the hospital.
The second floor of the new facility will house Family Medicine providers combining the staff from the current practices of Family HealthCare Center and Rochelle Medical Group. This will include Jason Popp, M.D., Katherine Ritter, M.D., Manuj Goel, M.D., Marilyn Balch, APN, CNP and their support staff with sufficient space for additional providers. This space includes 27 exam rooms, 10 provider offices and a laboratory area.
Rochelle Community Hospital broke ground for this new building on June 16, 2015. Erdman Construction of Madison, WI has provided the planning, design and construction of this project. Erdman is consistently recognized among the top healthcare facility firms in annual rankings and has offices in six additional locations across the United States in addition to the Madison, WI headquarters.
