Rochelle Community Hospital Recognized with Two Pinnacle Awards

Rochelle Community Hospital was recognized with two Pinnacle Awards at the Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations (ISHMPR) Conference held at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, IL on October 27-28, 2016.

In conjunction with the Annual Conference, ISHMPR sponsors the Pinnacle Awards to recognize excellence and achievement in healthcare marketing and public relations. Over 100 entries in 27 different categories were judged based on their own merit in accordance with established criteria for project planning, implementation and overall results categories. Marketing professionals from North Carolina judged this year’s entries.

Rochelle Community Hospital was recognized with an Award of Excellence in the Direct Mail category for a mammography postcard. RCH was also recognized with an Award of Merit in the Advertising Campaign category for a campaign introducing two new family medicine physicians. Project team members included:  Janet Stewart of RCH and Randy McDaniels, Brenda Tomlinson, and Kaitlin Hamilton of McDaniels Healthcare Marketing.

Janet Stewart, RCH Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator, was also recognized with ISHMPR’s Individual Achievement Award which is presented annually at the conference. The award is presented to a member who has shown outstanding work in planning, marketing or public relations/communications in the healthcare industry.

ISHMPR membership is open to marketing, communications, and public relations professionals from hospitals statewide. The Annual Conference offers the opportunity for professional networking and educational presentations by nationally-recognized healthcare marketing professionals.
