Expansion/Enhancements

As the result of our capital campaign - "Renewing Your Hospital... Our Future"  - the hospital raised funds needed to provide renovations and expansion to our facility.  Fundraising began in February 2003 and was completed in 2006.  As a result, a total of 16,000 square feet was added or renovated. The expansions and renovations included:  

• EXPANDED Emergency Department accommodates ever increasing patient visits to the E.R. and helps maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• CENTRALIZED Radiology Services allows improved patient flow, greater efficiency of operations and additional capabilities, including bone densitometry.
• IMPROVED Laboratory offers better department operations and patient comfort.
• ENLARGED Surgical Department features new, larger operating room suites with the most technologically advanced equipment. New same-day surgery/ambulatory area allows for growth in outpatient surgeries.
• REFACED Hospital Exterior provides a more modern appearance for your community hospital. 
• PLUS... Improved medical air/nitrogen to operate surgical equipment with piped gases for anesthesia... added room for our Occupational Health Program for local employers... new rooftop heliport.
