I have been seen many times at RCH for various things and it has always been a positive experience. Through many testing, I found out that I was diabetic. Now with appropriate diet and exercise I have lost over 80 pounds with much more to go. It was very easy to get the needed help. There was no judgements only help to succeed.

I am alive because of the life saving measures RCH took for me. I came to the emergency room after suffering all day with chest pains. I had no idea I had a heart attack, and perhaps several while I was being too stubborn to ask my wife for help. Within 15 minutes of coming to the emergency room at RCH they knew what was going on medically and I was transferred out. I then had a triple by-pass and without the people at RCH I would not be alive. There are not any words to show true appreciation.

COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is my disease. RCH, Dr. Popp, Dana and the staff of the fitness center have changed my life. My lung capacity was 24 when I started. Today my lung capacity is 54. Greatest accomplishment: oxygen use only at night and when I exercise. I lost 40 pounds and 15 inches and am able to use less insulin.
